Project Highlight

Whenever we at PBD think back to this project, the image that comes to mind is the mural for the patio, painted by volunteer Gloria Bernard. The bright wall colors and patio mural really helped create the “Mission Neighborhood” theme described as a goal by the staff.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project began with painting, encompassing most of the facility – the main space, stairways, clinic, patio and upstairs offices. Furniture was selected for the lounge, reception, supervisor’s office and exterior. Furniture was provided for the patio, upstairs conference room, staff break room and clinic waiting room. Additionally, carpet was installed for the upstairs conference room and acoustic panels for downstairs. Reuse of some furnishings (i.e. the carpet tiles) kept roughly 100 lbs of waste from Bay Area landfills.
